Candidates must be licensed, working in a healthcare setting, and have sufficient experience in infection prevention and control, which CBIC defines as a minimum of two years in the specialty.

What is the certification of infection control?

Infection Control Certificate Eligibility. A bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field (public health, nursing, dietetics, microbiology etc.) is a required prerequisite for the Infection Prevention and Control Certificate.
